Explore Komodo Island on a guided shore excursion from your cruise ship. See Komodo dragons, visit Pink Beach, and enjoy safe, professional Komodo cruise handling.
Upon arrival at Komodo Island (Loh Liang Bay) or Rinca Island (Loh Buaya), cruise passengers will be welcomed by our professional local tour guide and official Komodo National Park ranger.
After a short safety briefing, begin a guided walk through the tropical forest to observe the Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Along the trekking route, you may also encounter wildlife such as water buffalo, deer, wild boar, tropical birds, and (occasionally) juvenile Komodo dragons.
The ranger will explain the life cycle, behavior, and conservation of the Komodo dragon, including visits to water holes and nesting areas.
After the Komodo trekking, the tour continues by local wooden boat or speedboat to Pink Beach (approximately 10–30 minutes).
At Pink Beach, enjoy:
Snorkeling in crystal-clear waters
Swimming and relaxing on the unique pink-colored sand
Viewing colorful coral reefs, sponges, turtles, and tropical fish
This stop is optional and depends on the selected shore excursion program and cruise ship schedule.
Depending on sea conditions and cruise ship itinerary, additional stops may include:
Taka Makassar – a beautiful crescent-shaped sandbank, perfect for photos and snorkeling
Manta Point – snorkeling with majestic manta rays (recommended for confident swimmers)
Komodo Village – cultural visit to the local community living alongside Komodo dragons
After completing the selected shore excursion program, guests will be transferred back to the tender point and return safely to their cruise ship before departure.
